In 2018 I got my first lash certification! I spent the first couple of months working with the supplies I received during my certification class. For a while, I wasn’t getting many clients, so my sisters were my loyal clients. I only did Classic sets and I was placing the lash strips on my client’s foreheads (we all start somewhere right?)! When Covid hit, my lash room got a makeover and I received my second lash certification, which boosted my attitude and confidence with doing lash extensions and in turn my sets started getting better!

I graduated from Paul Mitchel Annapolis Cosmetology school in 2021 and I decided to start lashing at a lash bar in DC. I was booked up most days, so it helped me build confidence in my sets, learn new styles on different eye shapes, and definitely helped my speed!

To start off 2022, I made the jump to move into my own suite! I was so scared that I wouldn’t have consistent clientele, but I took the risk. Then, I discovered BLB Sherlin Lash Supplies, and it changed the game! I started loving my sets more and continued building confidence in my skills. I still get most of my supplies from BLB Sherlin, and recommend them to anyone interested in lash supplies.

In the beginning, lashing was just a “side hustle” while I was in high school. Then I realized that working on other people’s time was NOT for me. I stopped the hourly jobs and focused on what I truly love to do. I definitely gave up a few times and doubted myself, but always came back ready for better!

The real ones know! I have come such a long way and I can’t give up now! Now I am here, as my own business owner, doing what I love for beautiful people who truly appreciate me.
